I was born and grew up here in Sevier County and the Great Smoky Mountains. As a Pigeon Forge teenager of the 50’s, I hiked almost every trail and trout fished almost every stream in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park where my Dad was employed for 40 years. I love the mountains, its people and the area. I know the people and the area, well.
Following college and active duty as a U.S. Naval officer, I served as a field consultant to various private sector organizations, state-wide, through the University of Tennessee’s public service outreach. This experience, coupled with my private consulting efforts, enabled me to deliver teambuilding, process improvement, and manager development seminars in-house for a wide array of organizations - from banking and medical clinics to manufacturing and sales organizations. Along the way, I sold real estate in Virginia and later and got my M.S. in Communications (advertising, journalism and business) and most of my work for a doctorate. I am a licensed affiliate broker in real estate and licensed insurance producer.
As a licensed Realtor: have completed the GRI, graduate realtor institute; have been listed in Colonial’s Top Producer for The Quarter and The Month –as first or in top 3 – several times. I’m currently assisting many of our visitors, your relatives, neighbors and friends – as well as – investors & 1031 exchangers – buy and sell homes, lake lots & homes, acreage, businesses, commercial and all other types of real estate.
Retired after 30 years with U.T. and as a Navy Commander with 27 years in the Naval Reserve, my second career is real estate in Sevier County. I am committed to it, love it and spend long hours “Creating Real Estate Solutions”. Since I know the area extremely well, I’m excited about helping you find your dream in the Smokies, in Sevier and its surrounding counties.
